The energy of Artis Lane's work is palpable. Her sculptural pieces reveal an inherent dignity, vitality and beauty. The breadth and scope of her work is astounding and rich with historic import. Particularly, Ms. Lane's depictions of the human form--regardless of medium used--impart for me, a deep soul-connection and absolute humanity accompanied by profound mood.
